Beyoncé Becomes FIRST Artist To Win Emmy For Super Bowl Half-Time Show

The Reigning Queen Of Pop  Beyoncé can add yet another accolade to her growing collection of awards with her epic Super Bowl halftime performance scooping an Emmy award, becoming the FIRST singer to win a Emmy for the show.

The Queen headlined the coveted halftime show during the NFL game in February where she performed a medley of her most popular hits while also surprising fans by bringing out her Destiny’s Child bandmates Kelly Rowland and Michelle Williams to perform a few of their famous tracks.

While Beyonce’s set was well-received by fans, it looks as though the stunning set impressed the Emmys board as they have awarded her with the Best Outstanding Lighting Design (Lighting Direction for a Variety Special) as part of the Creative Arts Emmy Awards, usually held a week prior to the annual Primetime Emmys.
